We are blessed that Archbishop Peter will visit our parish for Vespers May 13 (6 p.m.) and for Liturgy May 14 (9 a.m.). We welcome all to come and celebrate with us. We also ask those who are able, to bring a dish for the potluck Trapeza following Liturgy on Sunday. | Also, when Father Deacon Nicholas arrives from Dallas on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., he will bring the Holy Light, that is, the Holy Fire of Jerusalem. This will be put into a lampada in the church, in front of an Icon of the Resurrection. Anyone may take the Holy Light home, but this should be done only if you have a secure lantern or lampada to carry the Light in your car. A thin candle put in the cup holder (drink holder) is not suitable. |

| May 14 is also Mothers Day and we will be honoring all mothers in the parish at the Liturgy. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, and Godmothers out there! Most of all, let’s praise our great and holy mother, the Theotokos, who in Christ is truly our mother and the Mother of the Church! |

Let’s prepare ourselves for these great blessings by cleaning our hearts from sins, judgment, anger, and depression. Dear ones, God is with us!
