Victory Day 2018
On this day, we remember the many millions of our Grandfathers, Grandmothers, Fathers, Mothers, Brothers and Sisters who lost their lives, whether by injury in battle or starvation in siege, during the second World War. We remember. And to those who chose to put themselves between the advance of a global threat on their doorstep in front of them, and those and that which they love behind them, we say thank you. You loved us more than your own lives. And though it cost us dearly, it was not in vain! We love you, and will never forget.
