The Sisterhood of the Myrrh Bearing Women met on November 26 after the Liturgy and elected new officers:

Natalia Fedyashova, Treasurer

Our lesson was dedicated to St. David becoming a new anointed king of Israel and defeating Goliath. We learned that just as Samuel was told by God to not look at the outward appearance of Jesse’s sons but rather at their heart, so we should also look at the heart. Regardless of our size or appearance, we can defeat any enemy if we trust and obey God. We made sling shots, and joined the classes to defeat a life-size drawing of Goliath. Diana organized the children like an army and led them into battle.
